The Commonwealth Quality Alliance (CQA) is a quality standards initiative of the Virginia Wineries Association and is endorsed by Virginia Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Virginia Vineyards Association and the Virginia Wine Distribution Company.  The Alliance works to promote Virginia-grown wines, which meet international standards and best represent the Virginia Wine industry.  Earning the CQA label is a great accomplishment that provides these wineries both local and international acclaim.

The CQA Label Means:

  • This wine was made with 100% Virginia grapes
  • This wine was produced and bottled in Virginia
  • This wine has been tested for quality and purity
  • This wine was produced by a CQA member winery

Of over 250 wineries in Virginia only 23 made the CQA grade!  Potomac Point Winery is honored to be among them.  Learn more about the Commonwealth Quality Alliance and which wineries are a part of it at www.CQAwine.org.
